Bedside lamps from Horn Belysning Beige Champagne

Original vintage bedside lamps from the Danish manufacturer Horn Belysning in the color Beige Champagne. You place the globe on the base in the desired position. Thanks to the holder in which the globe is clamped, you can easily turn the lamp so that the light always shines at the desired location.

Originally these lamps were brown in color. We have had the ball of these lamps re-powder coated by a specialized company. The paint of the lamps is therefore in excellent condition and the Beige Champagne color makes them perfectly suitable for a modern interior.

Condition

These bedside lamps are approximately 50 years old and in good condition with slight signs of previous use. The globes have been powder coated again and are therefore in new condition. These globe bedside lamps come complete with base and power cord with switch. At one of the feet the metal plate has been replaced by a piece of iron wire.

History Horn Belysning

Hans Jørgen Berthell designed the model for Horn Belysning in the 1950s. In the years that followed, it was marketed by various manufacturers. The globe lamp was particularly popular in the 1970s. The manufacturer Horn was founded in 1952. The production of the globe lamp has contributed to the company’s success. After more than 70 years, this lamp is still known and highly sought after. The iconic design of the light has since become a Mid-century Danish design icon!
