Louis Poulsen Magasin wall and ceiling lamp 143203 black
Are you looking for a compact and modern ceiling spotlight? The Louis Poulsen Magasin ceiling lamp, model 143203 in black, is exactly what you need. With its anti-glare ring, this lamp prevents direct glare and ensures an even light distribution downwards, resulting in fascinating light patterns on the ceiling or wall.
The original design of the Magasin ceiling fitting dates back to 1974 and was created by Vilhelm Wohlert for the New Carlsberg Foundation in Copenhagen. The museum had many rooms with low ceilings, which was the inspiration for Wohlert to design this compact ceiling spotlight that fit seamlessly into that environment.
We not only offer the small version of this lamp, but also the larger version. Whether you seek a modest or more prominent lighting element for your space, Louis Poulsen has you covered.
Although the original color of the lamp was white, the fixture has been re-powder-coated by a specialized company. As a result, the lamp is in excellent condition. The matte black color makes this hanging lamp perfect for a contemporary interior.
Condition
This lamp is approximately 30 years old, meticulously preserved, and is in excellent condition, displaying only subtle signs of previous use.

About Louis Poulsen
Louis Poulsen’s goal is not just to design lights. By shaping light from a lamp, Louis Poulsen wants to create an atmosphere in which people feel good, both inside and outside. The shape of the light creates space and the products must live harmoniously in the space they define – indirect, soft and inviting. View our complete collection of Louis Poulsen lighting here.
