Caprani floor lamp model 840
This floor lamp was designed by Mads Caprani in the 1970s. The story goes that the signature shape of this luminaire was born when Caprani was drawing question marks at his desk while designing a new luminaire – and suddenly realized that the question mark might just be the shape he was looking for. The shape of a question mark can be seen in the slightly curved leg of the floor lamp. The lamp is ideal for creating a soft atmosphere in the living room and bedroom, but also finds a place in the home office as a work lamp or reading lamp.
Condition
The lamp is about 50 years old and in very good condition with minimal signs of previous use. The manufacturer’s sticker is present in the lamp and Capranilight is also in the cast iron base. The lamp comes without a shade.
