Royal Copenhagen pendant Mythos

This atmospheric pendant light was designed for the Royal-Copenhagen brand and released under the Mythos type. The Mythos pendant light was designed by Sidse Werner for Royal Copenhagen in the 1980s. Made of hand-blown glass. Both the outside and the inside are white in color. When the lamp is lit, the shade has a nice soft glow.

Condition

The pendant light is about 40 years old and in good condition with light signs of previous use.

Side Werner graduated from the School of Architecture and Industrial Design in Copenhagen. She started as an assistant to Nanna Ditzel. She would later exhibit herself in London, Paris, Tokyo and New York. Side Werner has designed several glass pendant lights for Royal Copenhagen and Holmegaard.
