Design Mythos
The Mythos pendant lamp was designed by Sidse Werner for Royal Copenhagen in the 1980s. Made of hand blown glass. Both the outside and the inside are white in color. When the lamp is on, the shade has a nice soft glow, and the light is white in color.
Sidse Werner
Side Werner is a graduate of the School of Architecture and Industrial Design in Copenhagen. She started as an assistant to Nanna Ditzel. She would later exhibit herself in London, Paris, Tokyo and New York. Side Werner has designed several glass pendant lamps for Royal Copenhagen and Holmegaard.
Danish lighting
The uniqueness of the Danish lighting culture is that lighting and cosiness are closely linked. Danish lamp design is not just about form.
